What is Duplex 2507?

Super Duplex 2507, also known as UNS S32750, is a type of stainless steel that is renowned for its exceptional strength and corrosion resistance. Its minimum PREN value is 41, far higher than 316 Stainless Steel.

What are its features?

It is highly resistant to general corrosion, pitting and crevice corrosion in high chloride, hot environments. It's also 100% corrosion-resistant in salt water, making it ideal for marine applications.

What applications can it be used for?

It is ideal for use in Geothermal, wastewater, oil and gas, coastal construction and chemical processing applications. It can also be specified for sea water piling applications in H6 timber.
